The Andhra Pradesh State Tex- tile Development Corporation is now moving handloom cloth and garments out of the country as fast as they're woven : The English, the Americans, the French, the Swiss and the Germans are already wearing them and the rest of the world is fast catching on! The APSTDC is constantly active :
* Modernishing traditional looms.
* Setting up R & D centres to produce exportable varieties of cloth; to train tailors, cutters & designers & supply them with special machines.
* Entering into joint - venture agreements.
* Participating in Trade fairs.
* Opening showrooms.
* Setting up Spinning Mills and power- loom units.
Soon we'll be covering the rest of the world!
